James “Jamie” Hess

Co-Founder and CEO

Jamie Hess was born and raised in Maine, NY where he attended Maine Endwell High School and played football and lacrosse.  He attended Rochester Institute of Technology and has owned a technology company with his brother Joe since 1991.  He and Joe also own a CPR certification company (CPR Classes Near Me) with 29 locations throughout the US. 

Jamie is married to Sandy Hess and they have three children together, Jamie Jr, Emily and Mika.  His entire family relocated to Wesley Chapel, FL in 2018.  Jamie loves football and has season tickets to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with is wife Sandy.  Jamie sits on the North Tampa Bay Chamber Board of Directors and is an active member.

Jamie has lost a few family members to cancer and a couple to heart disease which is the driving force for his desire to promote healthy living and catching cancer and other problems early!

Joe Hess

Co-Founder and COO

Joe Hess was born and raised in Maine, NY and attended Maine Endwell High School where he played football and baseball.  He has several business certifications and has owned a technology company with his brother Jamie since 1991.  He and Jamie also own a CPR certification company (CPR Classes Near Me) with 29 locations throughout the US. 

Joe is married to Niki Hess and they have five children together, Joe III, Kailey, Justin, Lauren and Josh.  His entire family relocated to Wesley Chapel, FL in 2021.  Joe loves sports especially football and baseball.

Joe is a cancer survivor which is the driving force for his desire to promote healthy living and catching cancer and other problems early. Joe was lucky enough to catch his cancer early enough to beat it and fully understands the need for yearly scans to catch problems early!

Martin Gramatica

Co-Founder and CMO

Martin Gramatica is a former professional American football placekicker known for his time in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on November 27, 1975, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Gramatica moved to the United States at the age of nine, where he developed his football skills and went on to play college football at Kansas State University.

Gramatica was selected in the third round of the 1999 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He quickly made a name for himself as a reliable kicker and was part of the Buccaneers team that won Super Bowl XXXVII in 2003. Since 2018, Martin Gramatica has served as the color commentator for Tampa Bay Buccaneers games on Spanish radio, providing insights and analysis for the team’s Spanish-speaking fans.

Martin is married to Ashlee Gramatica, and together they have three children: Nico, Gaston, and Emme. He is passionate about the Tampa Bay community and is dedicated to raising awareness about the benefits of early detection in health matters.

Dr. Fred H. Brennan, Jr DO

Medical Director

Dr. Fred Brennan is a board-certified family medicine physician with extensive expertise in sports medicine. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Microbiology from the University of New Hampshire and went on to obtain his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. He then completed a family medicine residency at Albany Medical Center in New York, followed by a primary care sports medicine fellowship at The Toledo Hospital’s Northwest Ohio Center for Sports Medicine.

From an early age, Dr. Brennan aspired to become a physician. Initially set on a career in orthopedic surgery, his perspective shifted after spending two months with a family medicine residency program. Impressed by the breadth of knowledge and scope of practice within family medicine, he redirected his focus to family and sports medicine—a decision he has never regretted.

A former Division I college football player, Dr. Brennan has also completed the Boston Marathon twice and is a finisher of the Ironman Triathlon World Championship. He serves as a Chief Medical Officer for both the Boston Marathon and the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii. Prior to relocating to Florida in 2017, he spent a decade as the head team physician at the University of New Hampshire.

Dr. Brennan also has an esteemed military career, having served over 20 years before retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. During his service, he was deployed as an ER physician in Baghdad, Iraq, where he was awarded a Bronze Star Medal. Over his military tenure, he received an additional 25 medals in recognition of his service.

As a distinguished author, Dr. Brennan has contributed to leading medical publications, including UpToDate, Current Sports Medicine Reports, and American Family Physician. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and is an Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) instructor. Additionally, he holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Sports Medicine and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine.

Currently, Dr. Brennan serves as a team physician for the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers and MLB’s Toronto Blue Jays. He is also a faculty member at the University of South Florida/Morton Plant Mease Family Medicine Residency Program in Clearwater, Florida.
